Bird Dolls
Dr. Scops
Dr. Scops
Dr. Scops is 24 inches tall. His appendages are made of wood, his hands and feet are sculpted using Apoxie Sculpt. His head is a resin casting of an owl skull.
Dr. Scops is one of the original Strange Dolls designs. He was created in 2014. He is a simple but powerful design, bringing in references to plague doctors and our connection to birds in our collective unconscious.
I have made dozens of versions of Dr. Scops over the years without changing the design.
